I like the grizzled old man look a lot. Looks like he would cut me in half with a laser katana and then retire to his chambers for a glass of wine, cigar, and multiple sexytime dancers. Not too sure about the piercings, I think he would look a bit cleaner and more badass without them.

I'd say 8/10, I like the avatar because even w/ a common hairstyle it seems a tad different somehow. Maybe it's because your char is actually smiling as the above poster mentioned.
Testing my new avatar, had to ditch the downward look due to the new eye bling and haven't found the best way to showcase it. Have to keep my right arm visible though in preperation for my sweet cybernetic arm later in Nov. =D |

I usually like your avatars but the expression seems kind of at odds with itself... like your eyes and brow are terrified but your mouth is trying to be snarky. HOWEVER, it looks like someone is putting a spotlight on the Caldari symbol and your face got caught in it, which is pretty cool.
Soooo... 7.8/10, mostly because of neat light trick. |

I like the faded tattoo, especially on the darker left side of the face with that lighting, but there is kind of a lack of cohesion with the glasses imo. I think your avatar would look a lot better without them personally, especially with the whole punkish piercings and scarred thing going on.

Boy howdy I do love me an honest review. One of my greatest regrets is that Shadow's face is so smooth, and it bothers me almost enough to warrant spending a PLEX to fix among some other minor issues I have with her facial structure. As far as my CE eye bling, yeah, I am actually pretty upset with it. I do like the actual item, but the fact that it doesn't interact with the skin around the eye at all bothers me. There should be some scarring around it, or some small wiring embedding itself into the skin around the eye. So I will agree with you on that point. I'll probably ditch it and store it in my hangar once the novelty wears off.

It's kind of scary how shadowy and beady your eyes are, especially with the black lipstick. I like the fullness of your avatars face too, but the rest of you looks a little skinny!
Overall though, pretty distinctive as that hair isn't used that often compared to others. I'd say 7.5/10 |

There was a character in the EVE novel Empyrean Age (spelling?), he was a Gallente officer/capsuleer that later reappeared as a character in Templar One (I think). Anyway, your avatar is basically how I envisioned him looking down to the shirt... and despite having a Matari background that shatters my reverie I'm still liking your avatar more than I do most "officer" shots.

I have arrived. That's what I was going for. Pepper Swift critiqued me a while back saying that my avatar's face was a little too smooth, but I have since resculpted and fixed Shadow's nose to be a little less awkward and made her skin a little less perfect which you can see if you check out the hi-res. Thanks, yay. Made my day.

I like the stern look, especially with the extremely severe lips. I don't know why the graphics crapped out and made the shadows ont he eye look so sharp though, kind of bothers me. Not exactly your fault though. Looks like a no-nonsense pilot/boadroom commander.

You look like an inquisitor of sorts, which is kind of cool. However, the blonde hair and the lighting + a dark background pretty much make it look like a head w/ blonde hair floating in darkness at first glance. I would maybe work on the hair color, or go with a different lighting/clothes/background to make the whole thing more cohesive.
But really, looks like someone my humble minmatar punk-pilot would round up the troops and jump in a station back-alley... you know, for being amarr scum and all.
7/10, because I have a theme in my head of where you are going and I like it. |

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a big fan of your avatar. The lighting is just all over the place which isn't necessarily your fault, a lot of times you just have to carefully manipulate the poses to get something that doesn't look like 12 different flashlights pointed at your character. I dunno, just doesn't have that "capsuleer" look that I envision.

You look like an overlord who is quite pleased with himself. I think though, the lighter color hair just looks like gray especially with the black root color thing going on, but with no visible aging on your character's face it's a bit odd. Considering EVE isn't an anime, most young dudes don't have white/grey hair. I think the complete lack of facial hair also drives the fact that he's younger home, but i'm just nitpicking here instead of just saying...

I'm gonna be a big ol' negative nancy and say that I think that hairstyle swap is a negative change. I just try real hard to avoid any clipping or anything, so it feels sloppy even though I know there is little you can do sometimes. Aside from that, I think a shorter hairstyle lends itself better to your avatar's face, maybe the boycut one imo would look pretty killer on her face. I dunno, avatar just seems to get lost in the crowd as is.

I just think it's more fun to get feedback than some props and a high mark. It's y'all's avatar so if my critique ends up in that pile of papers by your desk you use as a coaster for your beverage of choice, well, such is life. Besides, I spent cash moneys on a plex resculptung my face after one of your reviews on me :P and I love my char more after heeding the advice.
I've reviewed you before but I like the avatar more as it is a bit more zoomed in than last time, and just seems more cohesive. The lighting and expression both work to give off that "I'll see you in space, b****" atittude.

Btw, I'd love my face to be on a coin, so long as it's a minmatar one! I was going for a file photo/mugshot feel. |

This is one of those instances that despite having a somewhat bland avatar, the name of your toon and his looks sync up perfectly (to me). I think it looks pretty cool, my only suggestion would be to dtich the shades because a dude with a name like Bagrat has no need for aviators.

I like the look, kind of like a station surveillance camara snapped this as you were walking by. Everything works out pretty well, so anything I could say I would change would be solely based on personal preferance (shirt showing the midriff, eyebrow rings).

I mean, I like your avatar when it's small because it stands out and looks kind of heroic. When you open up the big high res one, well... I may have to send some cheeseburgers your way! That's a nice way to say it, right...? =D You just look a little skinny/tiny is all, and the facial scarring I don't necessarily think fits but that's your call.
